Peachy Sheen Fruit Salad

I love the color, flavor and nutrients that fresh fruit adds to a meal. This fruit salad is so simple – yet adds a very pretty touch to your table. You can vary the fruit used, depending on the season and what you like.

Fresh Fruit
Gather your fruit and peach pie filling.
Wash and stem fruit. Cut strawberries in half.
Add the glaze from the peach pie filling (can also include the peaches if you want) and mix gently to cover fruit. Adds a beautiful sheen to the fruit.
Place in serving bowl, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Fruity-licious! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound strawberries
  • 1 pint blueberries
  • 1 pound grapes
  • 1 can peach pie filling

Instructions

  • Wash and stem all the fresh fruit.  Cut strawberries in half, quartered if large strawberries.  Allow to drain in colander.
  • Combine fruit in large mixing bowl.  Add peach pie filling.  I often just add the filling glaze – and then I do not use the  peaches.  Gently stir to distribute the glaze on all the fruit – makes it so pretty.
  • Cover the salad with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to eat.  Also delicious the next day.

Notes

Can vary  fruits, depending on season and personal preferences.  This recipe was given to me by Joni Smith.  Enjoy!!!!
