Yellow Climbing Roses Look Joyful!

Yellow climbing roses look so charming! They just seem so cheery and joyful! The yellow color mixes so well with other annuals and perennials in your gardens.

Beautiful yellow roses reaching for the sky!

The same roses, just the next day! They open up so quickly on sunny days.

A couple of days later, almost all the buds have opened up.

Look at all those little buds, just about ready to bloom.

Yellow roses just look happy! I think yellow is one of the happiest colors when it comes to roses.

Sun colored roses convey warmth, delight, gladness and affection. They are said to be a symbol for friendship, joy and caring.

The first bloom of the season always seems to be the best! So many blooms at the same time! But they will keep blooming all summer.

Take time to smell – and enjoy your roses!

Corvedale Roses Are Delicate and So Radiant

Corvedale Roses Are Delicate and So Radiant

I love these Corvedale David Austin English Roses! The bright pink cupped blooms are so delicate and radiant! So gorgeous!

They are highly fragrant with a pleasant clean smell.

They will bloom from early spring to fall. I always remove the spent blooms to encourage them to bloom again. You want to keep these blooming all summer! They make a beautiful bouquet to bring inside!

These roses grow to be about 4-6 feet high and 3-4 feet wide, and they normally have 26-40 petals on a full bloom

Just look at those impressive blooms! These roses are disease resistant.

Normally these roses just need pruned once a year, after the first hard frost.

Fertilize these roses at least once in the spring and once in the summer. Check the directions on the fertilizer you are using. Some rose fertilizers only last a few months, others last most of the season.

Such a pretty rose! Fun Fact: The rose is named for a valley that runs parallel to Wenlock Edge in Shropshire.

Enjoy being outside in the sunshine! It is good for your soul!!!

Disneyland Rose is a Joyous Parade of Bright, Whimsical Blooms

Disneyland Rose is a Joyous Parade of Bright, Whimsical Blooms

One of the most beautiful roses in our gardens.

My daughter picked out this rose years ago when she was just a little girl. We have moved it several times when we have changed our landscaping, but it continues to thrive. It’s name was “Jacmouse”, but it is now the official rose of the Disneyland Resort in California, so now the trade name is “Disneyland” – because it offers a “joyous parade of bright, whimsical blooms.”

The rose colors change as the bloom matures.

This is a floribunda rose that is so beautiful! As it blooms you will see wide range of colors from apricot to copper to orange to pink. It grows about 2-3 feet tall and is about 2-3 feet wide. It will bloom from May to the time it frosts.

Disneyland Rose after a rain.

This rose does not require much maintenance and ours has weathered several very dry and very wet seasons. It likes full sun, but will tolerate some shade.

Use these roses to create beautiful and fragrant bouquets.

To encourage reblooms, I remove the spent flowers. After the first hard frost in the fall, I prune it back. Lovely rose to add to your rose garden!
