
So cold outside! The cold weather makes me crave tasty comfort food! I had some leftover turkey and I decided to make a classic comfort food – Turkey Pot Pie. I tried a new recipe and it was delicious!

The recipe below, does include instructions for a homemade crust, but I used the Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crusts instead.

This Turkey Pot Pie is loaded with vegetables – lots of onion, carrots, celery and peas- plus 3 cups of chicken. I decided to rough cut the turkey instead of shredding, like the recipe suggests.

The original recipe was Chicken Pot Pie, which would be equally delicious. Using a rotisserie chicken would be an easy option. This was the best turkey pot pie I have ever made. Enjoy!
