Big Sandwich

The Big Sandwich is a family favorite at our home. It is great for parties, Sunday night – – or anytime! It can be made ahead and baked when needed. This recipe makes a large batch, so I often make a half batch, shown in the photos below.

Gather Big Sandwich ingredients.
Roll out one loaf of the bread dough – once again I use my wooden cutting board.
If making a full batch, roll out both loaves.
Begin putting on the layers – starting with cheddar cheese.
If making a full batch, extend layers to within one inch of all edges.
Add ground beef.
Pepperoni is next.
Place ham on top of pepperoni.
Top with mozzarella cheese.
Fold over and pinch the edges together to seal. Use a fork to finish the edges.
If making a full batch, you would place the second rolled out loaf over the layers
and pinch and seal all four sides.
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until the bread is golden brown. Brush butter over the top right after removing from the oven.
How delicious does this look? Enjoy!
