One of my favorite times of year is right now – the leaves are turning beautiful shades of orange, yellow and red and then gently flying around in the breeze! And the flavors of fall are so amazing! Apples, pumpkins and squash – YUM! But baking pumpkin bread has to be one of the best ways to welcome fall!

This cute little pumpkin bread baking pan is highlighted with a trio of pumpkins. Pumpkin bread is so easy to make – just a bit of mixing and stirring, pop it in the oven for about an hour and you have a tasty autumn snack.

Pumpkin bread is a wonderful baking gift to share! You can also freeze it for up to 3 months, so you might want to make several loaves at the same time.

To highlight the pumpkin design, I sprinkled a bit of cinnamon-sugar mixture around the outside edges.

Doesn’t that look scrumptious? Love a good pumpkin bread…but then I don’t think I have ever had a bad pumpkin bread!

Serve at room temperature – or my favorite way to eat pumpkin bread is to toast it and slather with a bit of butter. You might also try adding a little drizzle of maple syrup to add another taste of the season.

This is a beautiful time of year! Take time to enjoy it! Have your morning coffee outside – made even better with a fresh slice of pumpkin bread. (Thank you for the perfect mug Emily!)
Another perfect recipe from Sally’s Baking blog! I have never tried a recipe of hers that did not turn out great! For the recipe and directions for her pumpkin bread, click on the link below:
