Iced Oatmeal Cookies

Iced Oatmeal Cookies – I always like the iced oatmeal cookies that I bought at the store, but I never thought about making them! A perfect way to start fall baking – oatmeal cookies with cinnamon and nutmeg!

The keys to making these cookies is to chill your dough for at least an hour and to keep your icing very thick. You just lightly dip the tops of the cookies in the icing…..so good!

These will stay fresh covered at room temperature for 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to 10 days….who are we kidding? Gone in one day!

Make a batch and share! Perfect with a cup of tea or glass of milk. Enjoy!
