Round two of the girls’ afternoon summer baking was to make cupcakes – with lots of sprinkles – of course!
These confetti sprinkle cupcakes have sprinkles in the cupcake batter – and more added on top.
Veda wanted her frosting to be pink – it turned out to such a pretty shade. Putting the cupcakes in a bowl to decorate keeps the sprinkles a bit more contained.
Lots and lots of different kinds of sprinkles are required! Big flowers, little flowers, circles and two different rainbow sprinkle mixes.
Eleanor’s favorite color is now red, so she opted for red cupcake liners and yellow frosting.
This was her perfect cupcake. I like the little flower she centered on the top. A fun project for any holiday – or a project to make any day a little more special!
