Along with my love for sweet desserts, is a love for salty snacks and dips. This Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Dip is my new favorite. It only takes about 30 minutes to prepare and you can make it up the day before and just pop it in the oven shortly before you are ready to serve it.

This dip has pizza ingredients – plus cream cheese and sour cream. You can use the low far or regular versions – so you can lighten it up if you want.

Whip the room temperature cream cheese, sour cream (or Greek yogurt) and garlic powder together in a bowl until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Spread the cream cheese mixture in the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.

Gently spread the pizza sauce on top of the cream cheese mixture.

Top with a layer of cheese, then add your favorite pizza toppings. I have used the mini pepperonis in the past and they look really fun in this dip and are easy to scoop up with chips, but our local store was out, so I just cut regular pepperoni in half.

Add more cheese. The recipe has you put the mozzarella cheese on and then the toppings, and the Parmesan cheese on top. I used a combination of the two cheeses. and I put a little under the toppings and more on top.

Delicious! Pizza in a dip! Warm and cheesy, spiced up with the pepperoni! New pictures using the mini-pepperoni slices, layered like the recipe directions, with the mozzarella cheese under the toppings and the Parmesan on top…looks much prettier that way!

Bake for 20-25 minutes until the dip is bubbly and the cheese is melted. Sprinkle with basil and oregano.
Serve with chips, crackers or raw vegetables. So good! If there are leftovers, refrigerate – and then reheat in the microwave about 1-2 minutes.
This is another fantastic recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction blog. She has such a variety of scrumptious recipes- and they include very good directions. For this recipe and directions, click on the link below:
