Baked Apples – Easy, Warm Dessert

Classic Baked Apples – such an easy fall dessert! Plus your house smells heavenly while these are baking! Have you noticed that baking fall baking always makes your home smell so wonderful and cozy?

To make these, you simply scoop out the apple cores and stuff them with oatmeal, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar that is mixed with a bit of butter. I added chopped dried cranberries, you could add other dried fruits or nuts.

These are delicious right out of the oven, but made even more terrific when topped with ice cream and drizzled with caramel syrup. YUM!!! So easy and so delicious!!!
