When the boys decided that they wanted doughnuts for breakfast last weekend, I was ready! I had printed a recipe for Baked Apple Cider Doughnuts from Sally’s Baking Addiction website and wanted to try them. They did not disappoint!

Don’t you just want to try one? You simmer apple cider to reduce it down to create the wonderful flavoring in these baked doughnuts.

Once the doughnuts are baked, you dip them in melted butter and coat them in cinnamon, sugar and apple pie spice…you know it has to be good!

These doughnuts are best served immediately, but they will keep for about 2 days at room temperature.
