It is time to gather your pastel food coloring, Easter cookie cutters, sparkling sugars, spring sprinkles and of course, googly eyes! I have been experimenting with different cookie and icing recipes – getting ready for a family Easter cooking day…because Christmas shouldn’t be the only time you get to sit around the table and decorate (and eat) cookies. Make your favorite sugar cookie and icing recipes…and let the fun begin!

Cute little bunny butts! Make polka dots by adding drops of white icing to the wet base color.
Add sprinkles, M&M’s, sparkling sugars.
The little lamb turned out so cute. I let first layer of icing dry and then just swirled icing in random pattern and added a bow.
Layer the decorations to add color and fun!
Laurie tried wrapping plastic Easter eggs with the Paas shrinking egg wraps. Her grandkids are going to love doing this…and no broken eggs.
Did you know you can now get “Shimmer” mini Cadbury eggs?

Happy Spring! Enjoy!
