Easter Chicks to Make

Spring is almost here! Time to bring out the sunny colors and Easter crafts! I saw these cute chicks on Pinterest and had to make a few. The website for the directions:

Easter chicks made from wood scraps.
Lucky for me – I have a husband that does woodworking as a hobby – so I went to his shop, gathered up some scraps of wood and cut out the pieces. Then after sanding them, I painted the back and edges white. I used scrapbooking paper, leftover from my kids’ high school projects, to cover the pieces, using Modge Podge. I used a bit of brown paint for the eyes and to “antique” around the edges.
Add fun bows, flowers and feathers to dress up your fun chick! Enjoy!
HAPPY SPRING!
