Angelique Tulips May Become Your New Favorite Spring Flower

Don’t you just love the spring? When all the bulbs you planted last fall come to life and signal that spring is here. I love it when the daffodils and tulips start to bloom – you can’t help but smile when you walk by these beautiful spring flowers.

One of my favorite tulips is the Angelique Tulip. It is one of the most popular and best selling tulips. It has gorgeous pink peony shaped petals.

The Angelique tulip is a frilly, feminine double tulip. They are fragrant and long-lived. Last year ours survived two spring snows and kept on blooming.

The flowers are soft and slightly ruffled. Pretty in your garden – but make sure you cut a few to bring inside to enjoy all day!

These tulips have delicate pale pink and rose shades against creamy white. So beautiful!

Pretty tulips all in row. These tulips pair well with other spring flowers. The cobalt blue clusters of the grape hyacinth create a wonderful contrast with the pale pink blossoms.

Catalogs are now selling bulbs for you to plant in the fall. Start planning your spring gardens now. Walk around your gardens and decide where you would like to add beautiful tulips! Enjoy being outside.
