Sewing curves is always a bit tricky and sometimes even complicated. At a recent University Extension gathering, Karma Metzgar told me about the Wonder Curve Ruler. It is amazing how much easier curves are to master when you use this template.

This Wonder Curve Ruler from Sew Kind of Wonderful is a fun curved ruler that you can use to cut and square up your blocks. The colored lines make it easy to scale a block larger or smaller.

The “Wonder Flutters” pattern came with the template. I used a vintage apron that I found at the local antique store for the butterfly wings.

The company has many quilt patterns that you can purchase to make projects with curves, and you can use this template on other patterns with curves to help make the stitching process more simple. Fun to play with new toys!
