Have you tried the Waterlogue app yet? It is a fun tool you can use to add a watercolor flair to your photos. You just need to download the app, import a photo and click through options until you create the look you want for your photo.
There are 12 different filters with varying degrees of color and detail. You can also add a border. Once you have selected the filter you want to use, you can save your creation to “My Photos.”
These are examples using photos that I took, just using my phone, of our indoor and outdoor Christmas decorations. Then I used the app to turn them into “watercolors.” It would be fun to use this app to create Christmas cards or Christmas “thank you” notes.
This app seems to work well with pet photos – wouldn’t that make a special gift? Pull up the photo in the Waterlogue app, adjust the colors and amount of detail desired, print it off and put it a frame. You just checked another item off of your “to do” gift list.
