Ingredients
1 cupwhite sugar
1 cupbrown sugar
1cupbutter, softened
2eggs
2cupsflour
1/2teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonbaking soda
3cupsquick oatmeal
1cupchocolate chips
1canEagle sweetened condensed milk
1/2cupbutter
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray 9 x 13 pan with vegetable oil spray, set aside.
Mix together the sugars and 1 cup softened butter with mixer, mix until smooth. Add the eggs, mix. Add flour, salt and soda. Mix until these ingredients are smooth.
Add the oatmeal and mix until blended together.
In a small bowl, mix together the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup butter. Microwave on high until melted, 1-2 minutes. Stir together until blended.
Put 2/3 of the oatmeal mixture in prepared 9 x 13 pan and even out. Cover with the chocolate mixture and spread evenly. Crumble the remainder of the oatmeal mixture with fingers and place on top of chocolate layer.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
