1 1/2cupflour
1/2teaspoonbaking powder
1/4teaspoonfreshly grated nutmeg
1/2cupbutter
1egg
1/2cupsugar
2tablespoonsmilk
1teaspoonvanilla
1tablespoonflour
1tablespoonpowdered sugar
Instructions
Sugar Cookie Directions
In a bowl,combine the flour, baking powder, and nutmeg. Cut in the butter with a pastry blender. Set aside.
In another large bowl, beat egg throughly. Add sugar, milk, and vanilla. Beat this well. Pour in the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill at least 30 minutes.
Roll the dough between 2 sheets of parchment paper, lightly dusted with combination of 1 tablespoon flour and 1 tablespoon powdered sugar. Cut out shapes and bake in a 375 degree oven 8-10 minutes or until edges are slightly brown. Cool on cooling rack.
Frost with favorite frosting and top with edible flowers and chopped pistachios.
